(Puta ang ina = Tagalog for 'fuck', khob-kun-ka = Thai for 'thank you'.) Combined, it's 'Fuck, thanks!' Sadly, these are the only two phrases I learned during my 10-day vacation in Thailand and the Philppines.
I'm so lazy to update. Little to no motivation to write this entry, save for maybe my own personal amusement 10 years down the road (FYI: I still read my high school blogs and laugh at my pathetic obsession with Japanese idols back in the day).
The past 1~2 weeks have been quite eventful; for brevity I'll make this more of a photoblog and talk about the main highlights of my trip!

Thailand 2009

Arrived in Bangkok!
Checked out the red light district down the street. So convenient! Prostitutes everywhere... Everywhere...
We dined at Cabbages and Condoms, a restaurant that promotes condom use!
Instead of mints, they gave free condoms!

Food was excellent!
Visited Siam Ocean World and watched an awesome 4D show!

Tried new drinks (Longan drink pictured below)...
...fell in love with mangoes...
....and tried a plethora of spicy Thai food!
We went elephant riding (my dream come true!)
...I even got hoisted by one!
We took turns feeding a baby tiger... Awww...
We saw a snake show... These cobras had enough venom to kill an elephant!
I was feeling especially brave that day... I touched it! :)
Visited some ruins (Andrew thought he was being really funny...)
Also dropped by Afzal's apartment... more like a hotel!
He gets a pool. How is that in any way fair!?

After our stay in Boracay, we flew to Manila and stayed at J. Uy's place. His family was so kind and gracious to us... Really thankful for their hospitality. We ended our trip with a couple days of partying ;)
