Gah, my short-term memory is so baddd. I actually had to look at my planner to remember what I did this past week ;_; A lot of shopping and Christmas parties... I hosted a potluck the other day - thanks everyone for coming! Too bad I didn't take many photos D:

I made home-style mac 'n cheese. Yum yum!

Speaking of food, I've been eating a lot more than I should T_T... Gotta start exercising again noooo. I also did Janice & Grace's nails that day.. I swear I was gonna die from inhaling all that nail polish remover. They better like 'em >:D

I spent Christmas day with my sisters and mum.. Nothing special, just spurring the Canadian economy with our money-spending ways :) Took so many photos that day :D

These aren't retouched in any way. Somehow I feel like I always have to add that 'cause so many people accuse me of Photoshop D: I do edit a few of my photos, but even so, I'm not ashamed to admit it. =="

Speaking of photos... I did a photoshoot with Payam the other day. It was so fun! Haha he's so talented... I wish I had his skill. I took nearly 200 photos, but obviously not all of them turned out so well. I'd make such an awkward model o_o.

I chose 5 photos for him to retouch... Here are some of the ones that I didn't choose:

See, I wasn't lying when I said this was an image-heavy post... Anyway, I'll post the retouched photos when Payam's done with them. :) TTFN! Clearly, I've been watching too much Gossip Girl.... hehe.

Random, but I got myself a vintage Polaroid camera the other day... Just waiting for the film to arrive. Woohoooooooooo!!

Okay, so I had the most amazing weekend ever. Okay.. Maybe not EVER, but it was pretty damn awesome. It started with Jay's concert on Thursday, December 18th, 2008. Ahh, this isn't a date I'll be forgetting anytime soon... I was SO uberly excited for it. Check out the signs I made for me and my sisters! They're pretty tiny, but the last thing I wanted was crazy Jay fans chucking stuff at us...

I felt like I caked on a lot of make-up that night (What if I bumped into Jay?!!), but it doesn't really show up in photos... At least I don't think so - what do you think? Foundation, concealer, eyeliner, mascara...

We got there pretty early, and it was PACKED... I've never seen so many Asian people before, save for in Hong Kong or Taiwan.. Everyone was just as excited as I was! We arrived early, so we decided to camwhore a bit... Hmm, Joey still looks pretty cute with minimal make-up.

The concert was so amazing - Jay is so freakin' talented! He opened with 黃金甲 and it was so epic. He really knows how to work the crowd! 南拳媽媽 made a special appearance, so Jay played the piano battle scene from Secret, which was totally unexpected... Everything felt so surreal. He also danced, played the guitars, a short drums segment, the guzhen... What CAN'T this guy do!?

If anything though, I thought the concert was too short... It was barely 2 hours. But I guess you can say it was short and sweet. Really memorable. Next time I go to Taiwan, I am seeing him again in concert.

So yeah, there was a snow storm on Friday, so I didn't go out that day... Besides, I needed the rest anyway. I had my last art class the day after on Saturday... It was so sad. I'm gonna miss the kids so much when I'm away! D:

Aiya, this week has been so tiring... I spent a lot of time in the kitchen preparing for my church's dessert competition (which was earlier tonight). I made kiwi and cherry tarts!

I didn't win, but it was definitely a great experience! Some of the desserts looked (and tasted!) so amazingly good. The competition was a portion of our annual Christmas celebration... It was a lot of fun! My sisters performed the Mario Kart Love Story on behalf of their fellowship, and it was cuteee =) Might post a video later. After the night of celebration and lots of good food, a good 10+ of us went to Oasis for some karaoke!

Mmmmm life has been good these days! With exams over, I can finally do the things I wanna do without being so pressed for time :D Anyway, I'll backtrack a week or so. I think I had more face time with Jacky than I had with all my accounting texts combined... Haha. I had to finally say goodbye to Guelph... D:

I'm usually not really the party type, but I decided to go to the Schulich pub night... It was the last one of the year, and I really wanted to see some people before I left for HK :) So after my last exam on Thursday, I decided to do some shopping at the Eaton Centre. I decided on this tunic-like top from H&M...

Okay enough of those photos.. :) Anyway, I started painting again! I finally finished my Angelababy piece... I uploaded it on FB, so I don't think I'll repost it here. OHHH and I'm still kinda obsessed with nail art... I don't think it's something I'll get over in a while. (Notice how my thoughts jump all over the place? I'm so incoherent, bleh, whatever)

I tried painting my right hand in rainbow colours... It looks cuter in real life :)

I also started a couple of knitting projects! I'm making a yoked pullover right now... I also made ONE mitten HAHA... :)

Oh and there's good reason I blurred my face... x) But omg, instead of the half sock syndrome, I have the half mitten one D: I'm soo lazy to start the other one. Hopefully I get over it soon... Gonna either give it to my mum or Joey for Christmas... Haven't decided yet. Gahhh speaking of which, I'm so broke these days... What am I gonna get people? T_T

Jay Chou concert in two freakin' days!!! I am stoked. Totally. I wanna camp out at the Pearson int'l airport so I can see him when he arrives x) Muahaha. Arghhhhh can't wait!!!

I am so sick of this layout! But anyway, it's almost been a month since I've last updated - time flies! This entry is gonna be somewhat image heavy... Brace yourselves, you 56-kers (do you guys even exist!?)...

So, my D.C. trip was fantastic! Well, a bit on the rushed side, so I didn't get to do as much sight-seeing as I had hoped. But it was rewarding nonetheless. Met a lot of great people and was able to put my stalking skills to the test (okay, we were SO close to the G-20 leaders!)...

Work has been great, as usual! :) My second class has 18 students, so it can get pretty rowdy. My sister has been an amazing helper.. Gahh, I dunno what I'd do without her!

School has been busy as usual, so I haven't really been able to hang out with my friends too much... So I was really happy when we got to hang out last week! We went to all-you-can-eat Korean barbeque and went to RQ Karaoke afterwards. It was such a beautiful night!

ONE MORE WEEK UNTIL SCHOOL'S OVER! I've been studying pretty well, so I decided to take a break and try something new today! I haven't gotten my nails done in a while, so I got some red and green nail polish...
